You channel the rage of the god of storms to strike down a foe where it stands. Make a melee attack with a weapon. On hit, the target suffers the attack's normal effects plus 6d8 lightning damage and becomes stunned until the start of its next turn. Additionally, every creature of Large size or smaller other than yourself within 20 feet of the target must make a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone, regardless of whether the initial attack was successful.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 5th.
