Choose an area the size of a 30-foot cube within range. Creatures of your choice within the area must make a Wisdom saving throw or have disadvantage on Dexterity ability checks and saving throws for the duration. In addition, when an affected creature makes an attack roll with a hand- held weapon and misses the attack by 5 or more, it drops the weapon in a space of its choice other than its own within 5 feet of it.

An affected creature can try a new saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect early on itself with a success.
