Flame Whip

You evoke a whip of flame in your free hand. The whip is similar in size and shape to a standard-sized whip, and it lasts for the duration. If you let go of the whip, it disappears, but you can evoke the whip again as a bonus action. You can use your action to make a melee spell attack with the whip against any creature or object within 10 feet. On a hit, the target takes 3d4 fire damage.The whip sheds bright light in a 10-ft. radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell with a slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d4 and the melee range increases by 5 feet for every two slot levels above 2nd.
